Those are some very old pictures. I can see some familiarity there. In the last picture, the lady looks a wee bit like an older version of Helen.
ya she does and Jack looks like grandpa. And I think John looks like the young Grandpa Andres.
He sure does look like his grandpa, when he was that age anyway. I have a picture of John wearing a hat when we were first married and he looks just like that. I see Mom in Great Grandma Andres.Becky has Grandma Braun's chin.
I have a question. What were the ladies wearing on their heads? They look like fuzzy bonnets?
That's pretty much what they are. The ruffly thing at the front of the bonnet was made out of lace or ribbons. The restaurant in Osler has a doll on display dressed like that.
I see so many of our family in these faces. That picture of Grandpa Andres looks just like John and a bit like Pete. Amy looks a bit like the young Grandma Andres. Grandma Braun looks like a mixture of Helen and Becky. It is quite amazing when we see so many family members in the faces of our ancestors.
Huh. That does look like me and Helen. Wild.
